When you download the Seeloz app and sign up for an Account or while you're using our Services, Seeloz' servers may automatically record some information such as (a) general information transmitted from your mobile phone/device, including your device type and your device ID number (for example, your UDID), (b) your geographical location (if you consent to that) (for example, when you check-in or walk-in to a location), (c) information related to your usage of our Services, such as offers viewed and/or redeemed and stores visited, and (d) information derived from such above information and other sources such as your actions on our social media presence, or information provided to us by your favorite retailers. All this information is collectively referred to as "Non-Personally Identifiable Information."
Personal Information You May Provide To Us
As you enjoy using our Services, we may ask to you provide us with some personally identifiable information such as information related to your interests. We may also ask you to tell us information about you that can be used to contact or identify you like your name, mobile phone number, other phone numbers, email address, home address, store loyalty card numbers for your favorite retailers, and, in case you like to use our express checkout feature, credit card, debit card, PayPal account, or store card information. This information collectively referred to as "Personal Information."
Personal Information We May Obtain Through Third Parties
We may also use additional methods to collect information about you that may help us provide you with better Services, such as information we may get from third parties related to your Internet browsing history or your online and/or offline shopping activity. We may also directly receive information about you from our partners from your favorite retailers, such as your shopping activity at the stores of these retailers including the store names, the date/time of the transactions, the products bought, the product prices paid, etc. Using this information to improve your Services will be subject to the limitations of the Privacy Policies of those partners or third parties.
The terms "using" and "processing" information, as used in this policy, are used to denote making use of the Personal Information or the Non-Personally Identifiable Information we collect from our users, solely within our organization or among our subsidiaries within the United States or internationally.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information Through Non-Personally Identifiable Information, we may analyze general trends about our users to improve the features and functionality of our Services and to make more relevant offers to users. For example, through the peak hours of shopping activity of shoppers residing in a given neighborhood, we may take decisions related to the best deal types to be sent to those shoppers to improve their experience using our Services.
Personal Information In general, we only use Personal Information with the sole goal of improving your experience using our Services. In more details, our usage of Personal Information can be for any of the following objectives: (a) to provide optimized, consistent, and stable Services, (b) to personalize your experience through understanding your interests and needs and only sending you the deals that are of real benefit to you, (c) to provide you with software updates and/or product announcements, (d) to enable your favorite retailers identify you as a Seeloz use, and thus allowing them to identify and store your transactions as Seeloz-related transactions along with your Seeloz identifier. This is mainly for the purpose of allowing us to better understand your interests and needs (as mentioned above).
When you enter a store loyalty card number of one of your favorite retailers (which is one of Seeloz' Retail Partners) as part of using our Services, we may share with this Retail Partner some of your Personal Information describing how you use our Services to engage with that Retail Partner, e.g., browsing/redeeming the Retail Partner's offers and promotions, how you visit their stores, etc. We don't explicitly ask for your permission when sharing this data. In all other cases, we will only share data with Retail Partners in an aggregated (i.e., not personally identifiable) form for marketing effectiveness assessment purposes and/or with the goal to improve the Services further. In our agreement with the Retail Partner, we explicitly require this data not to be shared with any third parties and even with employees whose job functions do not need accessing this information. Note that, we mainly share this aggregated information so that our Retail Partners also assess and analyze how interested our users are in their products and services, so that they may also provide you with an optimal online and offline shopping experience.
We will not share your Personal Information with anyone else other than our Retail Partners except to provide the Services, when we otherwise have your permission, or under the following circumstances:
Non-Personally Identifiable Information. We may share aggregated information with third parties or the public (e.g., through white papers, academic papers or press articles) in a form that does not disclose your Personal Information, nor be reasonably likely to allow you to be personally identified, for industry analysis, publishing state-of-the-art research results on user modeling, and similar purposes. We may also share this information so that additional retail or brand partners can see the opportunity in Seeloz and may also become partners and further enrich the Services and offers for our users.
Service Providers or Agents. We may employ or partner with third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Services, to provide us with Services-related services, or to provide all or a portion of Services on our behalf. These third parties may have access to your Personal Information but only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement. We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We reserve the right to track IP addresses for the purposes of fraud prevention, and to release IP addresses to legal authorities. We will disclose information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties when we believe reasonably necessary to comply with law, to protect the property and rights of Seeloz or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we may consider to be, or to pose a risk of being, any illegal, unethical or legally actionable activity.
Business Transfers. We may only sell, transfer or otherwise share your Personal Information in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of our company (or our assets) or in the event of our bankruptcy; this is the only case in which we may sell Personal Information we collect from you or from your use of the Services.

We employ high-degree electronic security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access and disclosure. In addition, we will delete information after it is no longer useful for providing the Services. We will make any legally required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your unencrypted electronically stored "Personal Data" (as defined in applicable state statutes on security breach notification) to you via email or conspicuous posting on the Services in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay, insofar as consistent with the legitimate needs of law enforcement or any measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the reasonable integrity of the data system.
The Services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Personal Information without their consent, please contact us. If we become aware that a member is under the age of 13 and has provided us with Personal Information without verifiable parental consent, we will delete such information from our files.
Do Not Track (or DNT) is a preference you can set in your browser to let the websites you visit know that you do not want them collecting certain information about you.
We use analytics service providers to better understand usage patterns of our services. These providers collect information on our behalf using cookies and similar technologies. We use these service providers to better understand how people use our services and so that we can improve the design and usability of our products. Neither we, nor our vendors, engage in "tracking" users outside of our service and website. Consistent with this, we do not take any action when a browser sends us a DNT (do-not-track) signal. Therefore, we fully support the Do Not Track program.
For more details about Do Not Track, including how to enable or disable this preference, visit this Do Not Track webpage.
